Run a hand over this jacket and you’ll notice it straight away: a heavier, more visible grain than a smooth-finished hide, with natural creasing already built into the surface rather than pressed flat. That’s genuine sheepskin leather doing what raw hide does before it’s been ironed into uniformity, manufactured in Pakistan and collected as finished stock at our Belfast base. This Weathered Grain Racer Jacket comes in two colors, dark brown and tan, that pair easily with denim, chinos, or darker trousers without ever looking like it’s trying too hard. Two diagonal zip pockets meet at the chest in a clean V, with two more welt pockets lower at the waist, giving four places to carry keys, cards, and a phone without disrupting the jacket’s shape. Every zip, front closure included, is YKK, built to keep pulling smoothly long after a cheaper zip starts to stick or come away from the tape.

Because the grain is already textured, this leather shows wear differently than a smooth finish: expect the natural creases to deepen slightly at the elbows and cuffs with movement and the color to warm gradually with handling. That’s the leather aging as it should, not a flaw to worry about. A polyester lining sits inside, keeping the jacket comfortable without bulk, whether it’s layered over a jumper on a colder day or worn alone through a milder one. Basic care goes a long way: a dry cloth for dust, no prolonged heat or direct sun, and rain left to dry out naturally rather than forced near a radiator.
