The collar sits low and closes with a single leather tab and one snap, so the neck fastens against the wind or opens out without the collar losing its shape. A straight center-front zip runs the full length. There are no studs, no buckles, and no chest pockets competing for attention, which leaves the cut of the leather to do the work.

And the cut is where the work is. Curved seams sweep from each shoulder down through the chest, the sleeves are shaped at the head and elbow so the arms move with you, and a yoke across the back with vertical panel seams follows the body rather than hanging square. Two slanted welt pockets sit at the hip. The hem is a wide band stitched top and bottom, and the cuffs are plain leather bands.

YKK zips handle the front closure and the cuffs. Inside, a full polyester lining keeps the jacket light and easy to layer over a shirt or a jumper.

Care is straightforward. Wipe dust away with a dry cloth, keep the jacket clear of direct heat, and let light rain dry naturally rather than near a radiator.
